Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Egypt forward Omar Marmoush on an initial loan deal that includes an obligation to make the transfer permanent for up to £60 million.

Marmoush, 27, is due to undergo a medical in north London before signing a contract reported to run for four years, with an option for a further season. The permanent fee is expected to consist of a £50 million fixed payment plus £10 million in add-ons, with £5 million of the bonuses considered highly achievable. Neither club had formally announced the deal at the time of reporting.

The move would continue Tottenham’s major summer investment under head coach Roberto De Zerbi. Spurs have already completed the signing of Savinho from Manchester City in a deal worth up to £85 million: £75 million guaranteed and £10 million in performance-related add-ons.

Marmoush joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for a fee reported between €70 million and €75 million. He arrived after scoring 20 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Frankfurt in the first half of the 2024–25 season. At City, he scored seven goals in his first 16 appearances but found regular minutes harder to secure during the following campaign.

Reports in Germany say Eintracht Frankfurt do not hold a sell-on clause in the City-to-Tottenham arrangement, meaning the Bundesliga club would not receive a further payment from Marmoush’s prospective move. That detail has not been publicly confirmed by either English club, so it should be framed as reported information rather than fact.[onefootball]
If completed, Marmoush would join a Tottenham attack that includes Richarlison, Dominic Solanke, Mathys Tel, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski and Savinho. De Zerbi has declined to discuss the transfer before it becomes official but has indicated that Spurs’ summer business is not yet finished.
