Jamal Musiala opened the scoring, Harry Kane headed in Bayern’s second from a Michael Olise delivery, Alphonso Davies added a powerful third and Olise completed the rout with two late goals.

Olise was the outstanding performer, finishing with two goals and an assist. His first goal was a curling 25-yard effort into the top corner, while his second arrived in stoppage time after he collected a loose ball and found the net again. The French winger was subsequently named man of the match.

Kane’s goal was his eighth consecutive Champions League appearance with a goal, and his 55th in the competition overall. Olise’s three goal contributions also took his 2026 total to 32, comprising 15 goals and 17 assists, while Kane leads players from Europe’s top five leagues with 39 goal involvements this calendar year.

Olise’s post-match comments were characteristically brief, but the widely reported exchange has been misrepresented. Asked how he scored so many spectacular goals, he replied: “I shoot and it goes in.” Speaking to UEFA afterward, he also praised Bayern’s collective understanding, saying the players know each other’s movements and are happy when their combinations work.

The result gave Vincent Kompany’s side an ideal start to their European campaign and highlighted the growing partnership between Kane and Olise. Bayern now sit near the top of the early league-phase standings, while Bodø/Glimt were reduced to 10 men late on after Odin Bjørtuft was sent off for a foul on Olise.
