Raphinha has made a remarkable start to the 2026-27 season, scoring in each of Barcelona’s first five competitive matches. His latest goals came in the Champions League, where he scored twice in a 5-1 victory over Feyenoord at Camp Nou.

The double took Raphinha’s total to eight goals in five appearances: six in La Liga and two in Europe. His scoring rate is approximately one goal every 49 minutes, although the precise figure depends on the minutes recorded in each match. He has also scored in a more central role after Barcelona’s summer departures in attack.

Raphinha leads the early La Liga scoring charts with six goals after four rounds. Sergio Camello follows with five, while Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal and Fermín López have four each.

His goals against Feyenoord also placed him in Barcelona’s record books. He became the first Barça player in the 21st century to score in each of the club’s opening five matches of a season. Barcelona have won all five games this campaign and scored 22 goals, their fourth-best start in club history and their most prolific opening since 1950-51.

The move to a central attacking role has transformed Raphinha’s influence. Rather than operating primarily as a wide forward, he has become the focal point of Hansi Flick’s attack, combining his pace and movement with greater access to the penalty area.
