U.S. Embassy Wraps Up Landmark Women’s Football Training Programme in Ghana

The United States Embassy in Ghana has concluded a high‑impact sports diplomacy initiative aimed at fortifying the nation’s women’s football pipeline. Over a three‑month period, fifty local coaches and three hundred female student‑athletes received hands‑on training in modern coaching techniques, tactical awareness and player development. The programme spanned three major cities—Tamale, Kumasi and Accra—ensuring regional representation and creating a network of mentors capable of sustaining growth at the community level.
