Juventus Target Manchester United Pair Benjamin Sesko and Bruno Fernandes in Summer Transfer Drive

Juventus have set their sights on a bold double move for Manchester United duo Bruno Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko as the Italian heavyweights attempt to construct a squad capable of returning to the pinnacle of European football. Having failed to finish higher than third in Serie A over the past six seasons, executives in Turin are eager to revitalize their ranks through targeted, top-tier recruitment. However, their ambitious transfer blueprint intersects with strict financial realities and shifting operational priorities both in England and across the continent.

A primary area of concern for the Bianconeri is the striking department, where significant restructuring is anticipated ahead of the next campaign. Juventus currently feature Nick Woltemade in their ranks following a dry loan agreement with Newcastle. However, a long-term stay in Italy for the forward is considered highly unlikely. Newcastle invested over €70 million to sign Woltemade during the 2025-26 season, making any permanent deal financially unviable for Juve. As a result, Turin officials are preparing to resume their striker search in the summer, actively evaluating alternative opportunities across Europe.

Among those targets is Slovenian international Benjamin Sesko, who has endured a difficult start to the current campaign at Manchester United. The striker has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford, with manager Michael Carrick favoring Matheus Cunha as his leading option up front. Sesko’s secondary role in England has alerted Juventus, who are keeping a watchful eye on his situation alongside Monaco’s American striker Folarin Balogun, another forward enduring a slow start to the season whom Juve view as a potential offensive solution.

Beyond their search for a center-forward, Juventus harbour genuine ambitions of pulling off an audacious deal for Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes. The reigning Premier League Player of the Year continues to prove indispensable in England, but his long-term future remains subject to speculation with his existing contract running until 2027. Fernandes’ standing has attracted significant intrigue from major European sides, with AC Milan and Galatasaray closely monitoring developments alongside heavy interest from several Saudi Pro League clubs.

Despite their admiration for the Portuguese midfielder, Juventus have concluded that a deal for Fernandes cannot be realized under current conditions. Manchester United’s £51 million asking price sits completely out of reach for the Serie A side, pricing them out of the running for the United skipper. While financial constraints rule out a move for Fernandes, Juventus will maintain their focus on accessible targets as they aim to assemble a title-caliber unit for the upcoming season.
