For chip strategy, Gameweek 4 can be a sensible Wildcard point for managers carrying several structural issues, particularly those needing to redistribute funds between premium attackers and underperforming midfield options. It is less compelling for well-balanced squads: with European fixtures increasing the risk of late injury and rotation news, patient managers may be better served by delaying transfers until as close to the deadline as possible.
