Al Hilal have completed the signing of Crysencio Summerville from West Ham in a deal worth up to £60m. The Saudi Pro League side will pay an initial fee of £55m for the forward, with £5m in potential add-ons. The 24-year-old winger has signed a four-year deal at Al Hilal. West Ham had also received interest from Roma, who had proposed a deal worth £39m, but Al Hilal’s offer was quickly accepted by the Hammers. Roma had been in negotiations with West Ham for Summerville, and at one point, had raised their offer to €50 million, including bonuses. However, Al Hilal’s offer, worth nearly double Roma’s initial proposal, ultimately won out. The transfer marks a significant sale for West Ham, who will have raised over £150m from Summerville and Fernandes this summer.
