The original proposed lineup contains several inconsistencies and should not be presented as confirmed. Josimar Alcócer was listed twice, while Sparta’s likely personnel varies across pre-match projections. Equally, there is no confirmed evidence that Ararat-Armenia have no injury concerns. The reliable position is that both teams’ official starting elevens will be announced close to kick-off.
Sparta remain modest favourites because of their continental experience and their perfect record against Ararat-Armenia, but the hosts’ recent home form and Sparta’s absences make the contest more competitive than the historical head-to-head record alone suggests.
