Liverpool’s potential investors, led by British-Indian businessman Amit Bhatia with support from his family and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, have identified key targets for the club. According to reports, the new investors are aiming to transform Liverpool into the leading and most successful club in world football. Their key targets include Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior and Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, with a potential deal valued around £85m. However, Real Madrid have also entered the race to sign Diomande, with the Spanish giants having already submitted an opening offer worth around €100 million, which was rejected by Leipzig. The Bundesliga side are believed to value Diomande closer to €130 million. Reports suggest that Real Madrid are actively working on a deal for Diomande, with talks over a €120m deal already underway.
It has been reported that Real Madrid have reached an agreement in principle with Red Bull Leipzig for Diomande, who is set to sign a five-year deal. This development may impact Liverpool’s pursuit of the player, as they are not willing to pay more than £85m. The situation has been described as an open race, with several European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, also interested in signing Diomande.
