Eberechi Eze’s next goal for Arsenal will be a spectacle unlike any other. The forward has agreed to a celebration combining Cristiano Ronaldo’s legendary ‘Siu’ ritual with a signature bark from his rival, IShowSpeed, after losing a best-of-three FIFA contest during a recent livestream. The deal was finalized after Eze rejected a proposed Mbappé-inspired routine, calling the bounce component ‘berserk’ and insisting Speed ‘stop doing that!’—a moment that underscored the intensity of their rivalry.

The celebration itself is a fusion of two distinct styles: Ronaldo’s slow, deliberate ‘Siu’ pose, followed by Speed’s trademark vocal bark while tapping the Arsenal crest. Eze’s commitment to the ritual was made clear when he left the stream, declaring, ‘It’s not done, I’ll tell you that for free!’—a statement that hints at the ongoing competition between the two. Beyond the pitch, the rivalry has extended to the track, with Eze confident he can outpace Speed in a 60-metre race on his next visit to London.

The timing of this celebration is significant. Eze scored his first Premier League goal of the season in Arsenal’s 3-0 Champions League win over Lille just days before the contest, proving his ability to deliver in high-pressure moments. Now, with the club traveling to Nottingham Forest on Sunday, he will have the opportunity to debut the new routine in a league match—a moment that could further cement his status as a fan favorite.

What makes this deal particularly intriguing is the way it blends football tradition with modern rivalry. Ronaldo’s ‘Siu’ has become synonymous with celebration, while Speed’s barking has become his own signature, a blend of humor and sportsmanship. For Eze, this is more than just a goal ritual—it’s a public acknowledgment of his growing influence, both on and off the pitch. Whether it’s the ‘Siu’ or the bark, one thing is certain: his next goal will be unforgettable.
